Basil,  **FA, *GRAS, PROPERTIES: ANTI: bacterial, catarrhal, depressant, infectious, inflammatory, septic, spasmodic & viral. May be energizing, stimulate nerves/adrenal cortex, restorative, tonic & uplifting. AROMATIC USES: Grounding and helps maintain open mindedness. FRENCH MEDICINAL USES: migraines, mental fatigue, menstruation. HISTORICAL & OTHER USES: fevers respiratory problems, kidney ailments, viral illness, poisonous bites, muscular pain & inflammation. Birch Bark, Sweet, **FA, PROPERTIES: ANTI: inflammatory, rheumatic, septic, & spasmodic. Functions as disinfectant, diuretic, stimulant and is warming. AROMATIC USES: Elevates opens and increases awareness in sensory system. FRENCH MEDICINAL USES: Rheumatism, muscular pain, cramps, arthritis, tendonitis, hypertension, inflammation. HISTORICAL & OTHER USES: The aromatic and chemical constituents of Birch and Wintergreen are extremely similar, though they are completely unrelated plants. Both have been used in teas and for flavoring `root beer'. The chemical constituent salicylate (89%) is the natural version of common aspirin (salicylic acid). SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Do not use Birch if you are allergic to methyl salicylate. May be contraindicative for epilepsy.



Carrot Seed, *FA *GRAS, PROPERTIES: Carminative, Hepatic & Stomachic.
